Bart founded his company in Lake Charles in 2014, built around a simple idea: durable, high-quality shading and storm protection, engineered specifically for the Gulf Coast — designed, custom-ordered, and professionally installed, all under one roof.

We’re excited to announce that Finishing Touches of Acadiana and Louver Shop of Lake Charles are coming together under one name: Shade & Storm.
While the name is changing, what matters most is staying exactly the same — same ownership, same great products, and the same personal service our customers across Southwest Louisiana, Acadiana, Southeast Texas have trusted for years.
Shade & Storm simply brings everything we do under one roof — from interior shutters, shades, and blinds to motorized patio screens, outdoor living solutions, and hurricane protection.
